Daily life is a continuous acquisition. It is all about striving to look for a guideline, finding one’s own balance, a rhythm of life and attempt to keep it.
It is not the idea to strive to accomplish our life aspirations, but it is getting to know how to deal with our limits in order to explore one’s own freedom.
I am particularly interested in the place of bodily expression in this seek of rhythm.
Bodily expressions are a primitive ecstasy, which inspires freedom, vitality and spontaneity, but it is also about risks, tension and doubt, an external expression where the unconscious can be explored and exposed.
Metaphorically, I use sounds and movements in my work, as tools to express the intangible.
